Bradley is Director of Investment Services at Tax & Financial Group (TFG). As Director of Investment Services, Bradley is responsible for the oversight of all client investments at TFG including investment management services, brokerage accounts, direct fund accounts, and variable annuities.
Together with his team, Bradley monitors client accounts, evaluates and creates proposals and hypotheticals, provides timely market and economic commentary and advice to the firm, supervises all portfolio management, and acts as the investment decision maker for model portfolios.
With passions for research, optimization, and education, Bradley performs research for individual securities, model portfolios, and custom portfolios using the Morningstar Workstation, Securian’s Investment Resource Group, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, S&P Capital IQ, and many others. Whenever a new or impactful economic event takes place or technology emerges, he is ready to inform and advise both the firm and clients about the relevant issues.
Prior to TFG, Bradley was an instructor for 9 years in a variety of subjects ranging from Logic and American History to Poetry and Economics. To further his financial and economic understanding, he spent 18 months as a day-trading trainee becoming skilled in fundamental analysis and technical analysis and charting. He used these skills managing a corporate investment account to supplement the income of a real estate startup where served as the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Compliance Officer performing corporate cost and efficiency projections as well as monitoring legal compliance issues. Immediately prior to joining TFG, Bradley was a financial advisor, directly serving clients and businesses for their long-term financial planning and investment needs.
Bradley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry with a minor in Bible in 2006, and completed his Master of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis in History & Philosophy of Science in 2017. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services Inc., member FINRA, SIPC. In addition to his Series 7, 66, and California state insurance licenses, he is always studying to increase his expertise in the investment world and obtain the various certifications that accompany that expertise.
When not in the office, Bradley spends his time cooking, baking, brewing beer, roasting coffee, exploring strange new places, and creating new and exciting cocktails. He enjoys a good book, both good and stupid movies, and reading and discussing poetry and philosophy with friends. He is an officer and founding member of the monarchist group the Royal Stewart Club of Los Angeles, founding member of the Whittier Dead Poets Society, and founder of the Financial Philosophers Club. One of these days he will even start scuba diving again when he can find a consistent dive buddy. Bradley currently lives in Whittier, CA.
