Prior to joining Tax & Financial Group (TFG), Sun graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics and International Areas Studies in 2006.  Since then he has maintained a commitment to continuing education in the areas of financial planning, tax laws, estate planning, and business succession.  He currently holds multiple security registrations including the series 7, 6, 63, and 66 along with the Life and Health Insurance licenses. Sun is also a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services Inc, member FINRA/SIPC.


Sun grew up in Anaheim, California and believes in giving back to his community.  He participates in TFG’s “We Care for Kids, Inc.” Annual Golf Tournament which benefits the Make-A-Wish foundations of Orange County and the Inland Empire.  He is an active Board Member with the Korean American Business Association and the UCLA Alumni Association. He also serves as a National Board Member of Lambda Phi Epsilon, a national fraternity which is an avid sponsor and advocate for donating A3M bone marrow. 


Sun currently resides in Laguna Niguel where he enjoys travel, golf, surfing, and basketball.
