Robert Smith has been in the financial services industry since 1996 and has spent his entire career guiding business owners, high net-worth individuals, and corporate executives with the accumulation and preservation of wealth. Robert uses a comprehensive process which addresses investment, retirement, estate, and business strategies as well as life, health, and disability insurance programs. Together with the members of his staff, Robert has the expertise to help solve complex financial problems and the commitment to provide advice that makes a difference.

Robert has extensive experience in both the financial and real estate markets. Prior to joining Tax and Financial Group (TFG), Robert was a financial advisor at both Morgan Stanley and UBS Securities. He also spent six years in the mortgage banking industry. Robert holds the Series 7 and 66 Securities Registrations, along with the Life and Health insurance licenses. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an international network of leading financial services professionals who serve their clients with exemplary performance and the highest standards of ethics. Additionally, he is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services Inc, member FINRA/SIPC.

A former professional triathlete, Robert enjoys bicycle racing and boating in his free time. He is also the founder of Mikyla-cure.org, an organization which was created to raise awareness and funds towards research to cure Rett Syndrome, a neurological disorder that affects 20 girls born each day.

Robert resides in Corona Del Mar, CA with his wife Annie and two daughters Jayden and Mikyla.
