Matthew is an Associate Partner of the Tax & Financial Group of Newport Beach, California. He has served in the financial services industry for 8 years and received his Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics. Matthew is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table with Top of the Table honors, long considered the standard of excellence in the life insurance industry. Matthew’s practice focuses on the needs of high net worth individuals by helping them think beyond the traditional and start thinking in ways they have not thought of before.

Matthew has been a featured speaker for many organizations including the Million Dollar Round Table, Securian Schools, and financial firms across the country. Matthew is an active member of various Orange County Republican organizations and is involved with the Orange County Make-A-Wish Foundation’s golf tournament, a non-profit which raises close to $100,000 each year for terminally ill children. Matthew is also a member of Convene, an executive forum group for Christian CEOs and business owners.

In 2009, Matthew founded A Distinguished Gentlemen, a private charitable foundation providing Christian graduates with a tailored suit for the purposes of career interviews. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys relaxing at his family ranch in Texas, competitive tennis, and working on the completion of his book. Matthew is married to his wife Jenni and resides in Huntington Beach, CA and Austin, TX.

Matthew is currently licensed for life, health, and holds the Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.  He is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC.
