Katie is a financial advisor at Tax and Financial Group. She specializes in assisting individuals, families, and businesses with the accumulation and preservation of wealth to reach their financial goals. She uses a comprehensive process which addresses investments, retirement, estate, and business strategies as well as life, health, and disability insurance programs.

Katie graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a pre-medical emphasis from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She enjoys staying actively involved in The Orange County Waves alumni chapter as well as The Orange County Graziadio Alumni Network maintaining strong relationships, alliances and presence with fellow waves members in the Pepperdine community. Katie is a member of Action For Healthy Kids and is a strong advocate of discipline and a healthy balance. She jokes that going to her gym is similar to the sitcom Cheers, she is always there and most everyone knows her name! Katie holds the series 7 and 66 Securities Registrations, along with the life and health insurance licenses. She is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services Inc, member FINRA/SIPC.

Prior to transitioning into financial services, Katie worked in health science research at a science and engineering consulting firm where she assisted toxicological and occupational medical expert witnesses retained in litigation cases. Katie finds her strong ethic, thoroughness and faith to be of greatest importance both professionally and personally. She enjoys utilizing her knowledge, experience and passion to assist others in achieving their goals through financial strategies.
