He analyzes each individual’s personal financial circumstances and provides comprehensive financial strategies to address the client’s unique goals. James' process addresses estate planning needs, retirement strategies, risk management issues, wealth accumulation and tax efficiencies. He provides guidance to those who are unsure about their finances, and assists clients who have achieved financial success in becoming better stewards of their wealth.

James spent seven years as a Financial Planner with the Wealth Strategies Group, an office of MetLife based in San Jose, CA. At Wealth Strategies Group, James had extensive financial planning training utilizing the vast resources within the MetLife Enterprise. During his tenure, James received his Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 registrations. He is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services Inc., member FINRA/SIPC.

Prior to his career in the financial services industry, James experience working for Fortune 1000 companies such as Control Data Corporation and Reed Elsevier LEXIS-NEXIS Division and various start-up companies in the Silicon Valley. James had positions as National, Regional, and District Sales Manager with Control Data and LEXIS-NEXIS.

James received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College and has consistently continued his education in many disciplines, including technology and sales management. He maintains a commitment to education in the areas of investments, estate planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, and risk management.

An avid Philadelphia Eagle fan, James has a passion for sports and travel. He also enjoys the theater, music, and everything associated with the Pacific Ocean. James is very passionate about many social issues, so he volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, teaches young adults about financial issues, and assists families with special needs dependents.
