Catherine Utley is a Manager of Financial Planning at Tax & Financial Group. Catherine is responsible for providing objective and comprehensive financial planning which includes areas of investment planning, estate planning, insurance planning, risk management, and income tax planning. Catherine maintains a personal commitment to providing each client with the strategies necessary to preserve their capital, minimize potential estate tax issues, and build and protect their wealth.

Catherine has extensive experience in helping individuals reach their financial goals. Prior to joining Tax & Financial Group, Catherine was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch where she was dedicated to financial plan development as well as monitoring the market for trends and potential opportunities. Previous to her role at Merrill Lynch, Catherine was an Investment Advisor Representative at Signature Resources based in Irvine, California.
 
Catherine has a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. She holds the series 7 and 66 Securities Registrations as well as the Life Insurance License. She is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC.
 
Catherine resides in Mission Viejo, California. She is an active Board Member of the Long Beach Community Business Network.
